Damon came back up about ten minutes later. It was fairly easy though he did have to compel a security guard he passed in order to get further into that wing of the hospital, but like he promised, he hurt no one...erasing memory doesn't count. He came back over to Buffy with a blood bag in his hand.

"It's easier to not have emotions. You're alive for eternity, you see a lot of loss and all the other heartbreak that comes with life. It's not so much that we lose the trait, we more or less suppress. It makes it easier." Damon replied.
